This site uses XSL to transform the XML from various feeds into the html that you see before you. There are only a few exceptions, one being this page, the others being the header, footer, and the contact page.
I started off intending only to add a few new pages to my old site, pages containing my favorite youtube videos, del.icio.us links, and picasa albums. As I got more comfortable with XSL and feeds in general I decided to make an entire site around the concept of pulling in feeds.
Another great thing about this site, I update it almost everyday in some way. Everytime I see a great video on youtube I can add it to my favorites list and it shows up on my videos page. Every time I digg something, it will appear over on the right nav. When I'm scanning thru my google reader and share an item, it automagically appears on my site :)
I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Lynchburg College. In college I studied mostly C++, but since then I've gotten experience in many other languages such as PHP, Python, Java, XML, and XSLT. I'm always interested in learning new languages and challenging myself.
My interests include Artificial Life, AJAX and the DOM, XSL, video games (my DS is my favorite system, with Wii coming in 2nd), contact juggling, and, my old favorite, all things programming.
